“As ready as I’ll ever be. Let’s go.” I said. I walked out of the ship and almost walked into a tree. Isn’t Ax’s parking skill great? I looked around and spotted the others. They were all behind the trees; ready for the invaders. The closer they got, the more nervous I felt.
A few minutes later, they were here. Right there on the beach. It was almost time for battle and they hadn’t yet spotted our ships. Once the door to their ship opened, Ax looked over my way. He nodded and I nodded back in return. Deep breath. Just breathe. This will all be over with soon enough… Just a few more feet further. “CHARGE!!!!” is all I can hear. And soon enough we are running on the beach. Lightsabers in hand, anger in our hearts. The invaders were shocked. They weren’t prepared enough. It took them a minute to get out their swords and daggers. Lightsaber against sword. Demons against angels.
Several minutes passed as we fought. It felt like years had passed. While we were taking care of the rest of the invaders, several of the crew had gotten back into the space ships. They took it upon themselves to blow up the invaders space ships. The ones that were left on the beach were now ours. They had nowhere to go. No way of escaping. Before I knew it I was face to face with the last invader on the beach. He smiled and I smiled back. “Are you ready to die?” I asked. Before he could respond, he fell to the ground. “WHAT?!” I exclaimed. It was Ax; he attacked the invader from behind. I looked down at the monster and then looked back up at Ax. With one hand on my hip I said, “Now that was NOT fair. He was all mine!!”
